Business Systems/Operations Project Manager

Robert Michael Communications, Inc., an administrative company offering shared services to an independent medical education company and to a full-service medical communications company, is seeking candidates with a proficiency in business operations/project management to lead business operations systems integration/migration to AQUA WebAdvantage Software.

Responsibilities include assessing current system components (time tracking, PTO tracking, work orders, budget development and capture, etc.), meeting with key internal stakeholders to fully understand needs, liaising with software vendor to customize to organizational needs, testing with key internal stakeholders, planning and leading implementation and training. Responsible for coordination between domains for issue collaboration/resolution, milestone tracking, status reporting, risk analysis, and integration.


  • Detailed oriented assessment of current business operations systems (FileMaker)
  • Research and fully understand current use and future needs of our organization
  • Develop understanding of AQUA and capabilities and ability to apply to our environment
  • Work with AQUA WebAdvantage software vendor to customize and test internally
  • Work with internal key team members who understand workflow
  • Assist / lead data migration to AQUA system
  • Develop plan for implementation and training with an implementation team
  • Develop Phased integration as appropriate
  • Develop / lead training of employees


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in business, computer science / information technology with 2-4 years business operations and systems project management experience
  • Proficiency in business operations project management
  • Proficiency in AQUA WebAdvantage Software a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a preference for structured processes
  • Operations and process experience necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented individual
  • Training experience is critical with ability to train staff on AQUA  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
